These warranties are intended to meet customer requirements over and above Labsphere’s standard one year parts and labor warranty.
Richard Corbyn, Global Distribution Manager, described the benefits as follows: “Extended warranty customers receive parts and labor at today’s rates which is a great hedge against inflation. These customers also enjoy priority service on their warranty repairs and upgrades which minimizes downtime. On certain programs, Labsphere will also pay the shipping costs to and from our facility and send out loaner replacement components when warranted.”
The new programs are available for all Labsphere products and are particularly advantageous for maintenance and repair of large light measurement and uniform source systems.
