Labsphere Expands Commercial Team in Western US

Labsphere, Inc., a global leader in photonics test and measurement equipment and services has appointed Tom Molamphy to the position of Western Regional Sales Manager. Labsphere provides innovative solutions for a wide range of applications including LED/SSL lighting, remote sensing, imager/consumer camera, defense and security, and health and biomedical optics to both Production and Research environments.

Tom will manage activity with Labsphere’s Western Region including: California, Oregon, Washington, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Colorado, New Mexico, Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, Alaska, and Hawaii.

Tom has extensive experience in sales, marketing, business development and engineering in the electronics, semiconductor and optical systems markets and has spent the last 12 years developing sales and marketing programs for the largest global player in the UV-LED systems market. He holds Bachelors and Master’s Degrees in Production Engineering from the University of Limerick in his native Ireland. Tom lives in the Portland, OR area with his family.
