Labsphere’s line of goniophotometers debuted earlier this year in the US and is now available for sale world-wide. Three models are offered, each with a specific application focus.
Type A: Ideal for measuring automotive lighting, traffic signals and retro-reflective reflectors.
Type C, moving mirror: Total solution for measuring small lamps to large fixtures plus indoor and outdoor luminaires.
Type C, moving detector: Best choice for measuring replacement lamps and luminaires which have an illuminated area of less than 8” (210 mm) in diameter.
Greg McKee, Chief Technologist at Labsphere stated: “The roadmap for Labsphere goniophotometers includes developing other types to be engineered and delivered over the next few years. These solutions, coupled with traditional integrating sphere-based systems such as illumia®Plus, allow customers to establish a total light measurement laboratory for their R&D and production applications.”
Technical specifications for all three models can be found at www.labsphere.com.
